Thank you from A to Z - part one
By: Donna Worthy

There are so many things to be thankful for this Christmas season. I thought I would make a list of things A-Z that we should all remember to thanks God for.

A- Ability. If you are reading this article is it because you have the ability to see and read. So many in this world were born without vision or have lost it along the way.

B- Beauty. In each of us there is some kind of beauty. Either inner or exterior. Take a minute to find yours and be thankful for it.

C- Curiosity. What if we were all the same. What if there we no questions left in the world. I personally am thankful that the curiosity that I have to learn new things each day.

D- Determination. Some are more determined that others but I am so thankful that we have the option to chose have far we want to go in life and it is all based on each individuals determination.

E - Endurance. I wrote about this in one in a previous “mommy” article. I am so blessed with the endurance that is needed to handle the different situations that are thrown at me on a daily basis.

F - Freedom. I think this is the most important thing we are given in this country. We are blessed with the freedom to make our own choices of religion and so many other things.

G- God. At least for me it is God. He gave me life and continues to bless me with so many things each and every day.

H- Humanity. We live in a world where we hear bad things on the news each day. Thank God for the humanity that we show one another on a daily basis. Without that, the world would be a very sad place

I- Intelligence. The United States has some of the most brilliant doctors that there are in the world. We should all be very thankful for the intelligence level of those who help to save lives every day.

J- Justice. All though it is not always served we as Americans certainly have more justice here than abroad.

K- Kindness. Again, without kindness to one another we would have nothing but the sad stories that we see on tv to go on.

L- Love. I think each person in this contest has written at some point or another about love. That means that we have all experienced it and like the saying goes. Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

M- Mothers. Everyone has one and in today’s society many of us have more than one! To all of the moms, step moms, grandmothers and surrogate mothers… I thank you.

As a side note… this is a contest and I would be ever so grateful if I won J Stay tuned for part two of all that I am thankful for. Hopefully you can relate to some if not all of these things!
