The Bible describes Jesus as the "express image of His person" (Hebrews 1:3) and Jesus Himself said "I and my father are one" (John 10:30). John declared that the "Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." (John 1:14)
Christ was fully man and fully human. He had a dual nature. (Phillipians 2:6) Just as you and I have a human spirit that is intangible and unseen, yet alive. So too did Jesus Christ, excepting that the Spirit of Life within Him was God Himself and that is why he was pure and sinless. (John 14:20)
Remember that Adam was made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27) What image was that if not of the man Jesus Christ since "God is a Spirit"(John 4:24), "no man has seen God at any time"(John 1:18), and "a Spirit hath not flesh and blood" (Luke 24:39).
In Revelation we see Jesus sitting on the white throne of judgement as the incarnation or temple of God Himself. (Revelation 4:2) As one with God, the Man Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. The Bible declares that the Lord no longer dwells in temples made with men's hands. (Acts 7:48, 17:23-25)
The immortal body of Jesus is everlasting and the life within the flesh of Jesus is none other than God himself. (Luke 23:46) (Isaiah 9:6)
It is not that God is a material being limited to finite space and matter, but that God made a man in whom to dwell and rule through, speaking, acting, judging, blessing, healing, delivering, and ultimately loving. (Hebrews 1:1-14)
It is not for His sake that he put on a robe of flesh, but for ours.
"To wit, that God was in Christ reconcling the world unto Himself". 2 Corinthians 5:19
