I bought my guitar at Kingstowne Acoustic Music at Kingstowne Center in Alexandria a couple of months ago. I found what I was looking for. The service was very good and they also had a nice selection of mandolins, banjos, fiddles,resonator guitars and upright basses. If you put all those instruments together, with folks who can play them, you have a bluegrass band!
I was happy to see that David Evans and the others there offer lessons since I'm just a tad on the rusty side. OK, actually really rusty. It's good to know that there is a store like this close by. And it seems that acoustic music is gaining in popularity. It is a good alternative if you want to keep your hearing intact.
