Event Details Last Second Left + Dave Farah + Dan Wolff & The Muddy Crows
Date: 8/31/2013 until 9/1/2013
Time: 11:00 pm to 12:45 am
Location: Jammin Java - 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA 22180 (View Map)

Description: With songs ranging in genre from anthem-esque ballads to danceable rock-reggae to straight up rock and roll, it’s no wonder Bruno de Lima-Campos finds it hard to pinpoint his music to one particular category. Having begun at age 11 with classical and flamenco lessons and gradually applying his teachings to the electric and steel string acoustic guitar, Bruno’s unique stylings truly have a sound all their own. After stints as a lead guitarist and songwriter for many acclaimed bands (most notably Crowded Streets, a Dave Matthews Band Tribute), Bruno decided it was time to give his fans a bigger taste of his personal musical journey, and thus, Last Second Left was born. Last Second Left’s repertoire has been influenced by such notable musicians as Carlos Santana, Baden Powell, Tim Mahoney and Mike Einziger, but it also goes beyond that to truly display Bruno’s growth as both a songwriter and guitarist. With guest vocalist Lindsay Hough of The Fishermen and a plethora of other talented backing musicians accompanying Bruno, the final sound demonstrated throughout his self-titled debut album is one of richness and depth. Last Second Left’s live shows will also be sure to please, as Bruno is determined to take his fans along with him on his musical voyage, sharing with audiences the energy and passion with which he lives his life – both on stage and off.

@JamnJavaDoorGal Celebrates Another Year! SUPER bob + Wings of Apollo + Shokkher + Tip For The Brav
Date: 9/1/2013 until 9/2/2013
Time: 8:00 pm to 12:45 am
Location: Jammin Java - 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA 22180 (View Map)

Description: When you see SUPER bob live your senses will be overwhelmed by a borderline excess of stage presence and heart pounding sound. P.R.S sponsored guitarist Adam Smith brings a package of uniqueness, flare, and pure adrenaline that is rarely found in any one musician, while classically trained Drew Recny packs a clean, punchy bass style that is loaded with obvious talent and a technique that only comes with full dedication and commitment to his craft. Christopher Faircloth, a Spaun Drum Company sponsored drummer, brings an almost indescribable style to the table, one with high flying stick tricks, and hard pounding, ear deafening, strong beats. The proverbial icing on the SUPER bob cake is provided by Matt Santoro's vocals which can only be described as unabashedly his own. Full of ear catching melodies, unapologetic and blatantly honest lyrics, and a flow that is uncommon yet undeniably at home in rock, Santoro's songwriting couples with an unrivaled stage presence that caps off one of the best live bands you will ever get the chance to experience.

Location: Jammin Java - 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA 22180 (View Map)

Experience the excitement of the children when they get to learn a magic trick at the end of show! For over 12 years, The Great Zucchini has been entertaining young children as a magician and preschool teacher. He performs his hands-on, interactive magic shows to more that 250 groups a year. His experience, coupled with his gentle nature and wacky facial expressions, makes kids immediately feel comfortable and ready to laugh. The wonder of magic, silliness of comedy, and interactive nature of The Great Zucchini's show keeps children on the edge of their seats. Watch your kids' faces light up as they see things disappear and reappear. Watch how animated and excited the children get when they yell "Wake up Zucchini," when he accidentally falls asleep during the show or when he turns tissue paper into colorful rainbow streamers, or when his puppet, Ruffles the Rabbit, keeps coming out of the hat without The Great Zucchini noticing. This is "eye candy" magic comedy at its best. Have your cameras ready. You'll get some terrific pictures of the kids laughing the entire 40-minute show.

Friday Mornings with Rocknoceros
Date: 9/27/2013 until 9/28/2013
Time: 11:30 am to 12:00 am
Location: Jammin Java - 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA 22180 (View Map)

Description: As every family with youngsters in the DC area already knows, Rocknoceros (pronounced like rhinoceros) is three guys: Coach Cotton, Williebob, and Boogie Woogie Bennie, who make wildly popular, award-winning music for the whole family. The three Rocknoceros bandmates "grew up" (if they ever did) in Northern Virginia. Boggie and Coach, best friends since they were four years old, remember endlessly spinning Beatles records in Boogie's suburban bedroom while "waiting for Williebob" who appeared on the scene in high school. The three have been making music ever since, although it wasn't until 20 years later in 2005, when Coach Cotton was raising young'uns of his own, that the inspiration for Rocknoceros finally crystallized.

Ralph's World (kids show)
Date: 9/29/2013
Time: 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
Location: Jammin Java - 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA 22180 (View Map)

Description: Ralph’s World is the mega-fun musical planet where kids rock rock rock and dance dance dance to their own and their parents’ delight. It’s the creation of Ralph Covert: indie rocker, songwriter, playwright, and children’s book author. He’s taken the same high-energy and super-melodic sense that he developed for his touring pop-rock band to kid’s music- basically only the lyrics are changed for the ears of the innocent. His McCartneyesque style (both musically and his sense of charm) has won him hundreds of thousands of three-feet-and-under fans and their parents. He is currently working on “Ralph’s World: Time Machine Guitar,” a television pilot that combines music and history in a fanciful scenario wherein he and three puppet pals travel through time and space while both learning and playing music with true figures such as Ben Franklin and Beethoven. Covert’s national media appearances for Ralph’s World include NPR’s All Things Considered, ABC World News Tonight, The CBS Morning Show, and Sirius XM Kids Radio New Year’s Eve broadcast. His praise in print nationally includes Newsweek, Time, Time, People and Parade.
